We are delighted to offer this opportunity to students in Japan. A UNC-CH faculty member will accompany students on this intensive eight-week academic summer program focusing on Japanese Language and Culture.
The program will be based at the IES Center in Tokyo, Japan. IES (The Institute for the International Education of Students) is a global, non-profit organization based in Chicago with nearly 30 programs in 15 countries. Since 1950, IES has provided students and U.S. colleges and universities with high-quality academic study abroad programs that foster intercultural development.
Program dates are generally as follows:
Summer - Early June to Late July
*Students will be in classes with other program participants. All courses are taught in Japanese.
