CIC Foreign Language Scholarship (FLEP)

Sponsor
Committee on Institutional Cooperation

Deadline
Feb 13, 2009

Amount
CIC provides scholarships for graduate students to learn less commonly taught languages that are not offered in their home institution but are offered in one of the other CIC schools.
Receiving a FLEP award does not guarantee admittance into any course - it just provides funds for living expenses.

Description
FLEP provides summer scholarships to graduate students to encourage them to take advantage of language offerings not available to them at their home universities. The program is an excellent example of maximizing the program offerings of individual universities for the benefit of everyone in the consortium.

Eligibility Requirements
Students must be from one of the CIC universities.
Other eligibility requirements are listed here: http://www.cic.uiuc.edu/programs/FLEP/archive/ProgramDescription/eligibility.shtml
