Participants much pay tuition plus a study abroad program fee of $300 per quarter. Students are responsible for paying passport, visa, air travel, transportation and living expenses. Living expenses are estimated at approximately $1100 per month.
This is an international exchange program based on an agreement between The Ohio State University and Hokkaido University. One exchange student is selected each year to participate in this program.
Applicants must complete the OIE Study Abroad Application and submit it together with a $100 application fee. The OIE application fee is refundable only if the applicant is not accepted to the program or has submitted a letter of withdrawal from the program prior to the application deadline.
